Julie he looks ready to show. Will you be bringing him to Indy? I do not see any reason why he shouldn't go. Looks massive for a young 6 month ole. I hope to have Serpico up and running for the Indy Show. He is younger and still has that dishoveled look that I seem to get in my younger boys. And most of them seem to fill out to be good size. Bill I am not sure yet. Have to see how he looks by Oct. He needs to fill out more to suit me. He has nice type. Not as tall as i like but his comb is great. I have him in a breed pen now as he has been breeding. I am only getting a egg out of their about every two days. I set 7 from that pen today so I will see if he is doing any good. My other black male has'nt given me a fertile egg yet.
I set 23 eggs on the 18th and only have 4 fertile. And that was prolly Boss or Fidrych. Till the weather warms up their sharing the coop with 6 pullets. And these fertile eggs are most likely from a lesser quality pullet seeing their the first ones laying. I still am only getting an egg every other day from your three 10 month ole pullets I have in with Feran. Each morning I open their coop Feran does his dance and is looking very interested. I would LOVE to have some chicks from him and your line. It would be no more a cluster of genetics then what I have running around here now. Well, I am looking forward to whom ever you bring. I am sure this will be one heck of a show for our Orps.
