Mine all seem kind of round in the tail as well. She looks good. I need to get some updated pics of mine.

Thank you. I don't know if the round tail is a good thing or not. I guess I will find out if I take her to a show

I think it looks fine. Their tails do continue to change up to 8 months

I don't know much but I think they look nice to me. I wonder if the white toes are like the white beaks? Does it just take time for them to get dark? I know my little pullet that I am taking to a show still has some white at the tip of her beak but its a big improvement over what it was when she was a chick. I will let you know if she gets DG. I may have posted this before, not sure, but here she is. I think she is kinda small (she was hatched early Apri, I think).

I have a couple of my pullets entered for a show in December. Not sure if they will get disqualified or not. I have some other year old blacks that I am planning on taking my young ones back to them and see what I get. So much to learn.
She is pretty. She is about a month ahead of mine. How do her toes look and what does her tail look like?

Here are some updated pics of cockerels. They have finally grown some feathers back. Trying to figure out who to put in the breeding pen. These are cell phone pics and the wind is blowing so not the best combo for good pics. A profile of the above This one is the smallest

#1 looks nice, #3 looks like he is not done growing and filling out check the width of the heads and back, #2 the picture is not good enough to determine his quality but the comb is a bit off. Maybe Don will stop by and tell you which one is the best breeder quality male.

I agree with Harry. Keep an eye on the last one. He looks like he has some really nice thick bones.

Thanks. Cell pics and wind didn't help with showing them to their best. Out of the 3 I actually like the one with the odd comb the best. I didn't get any good pics of him. Their tails are starting to fill in so hopefully next month when I have to pick they will look even better.
