I wouldn't think 5 would be to many if you had the room. Back in my early time when I had big buffs, I kept 6 or 8, you never know when you might need one. Those guys can change as they go along. If you are going to show cock birds the next year might as well be prepared.

I guess it's all the same, they have missed 14 days of school there in TN. It was on the radio this morning, every school in Oklahoma was closed today. They said they didn't ever remembering that happening.

We are not that bad this morning in Watonga, OK, but we did get snow and the wind is blowing about 30 mph. Drifts are bad. I'm ready for spring for sure.

Bill, I don't know very much. I need to learn alot. I have made so many dumb mistakes. I just didn't have anyone to tell me. My biggest was culling all my smuttie females. My buffs got light overnight it seemed like.

Bill, I'm looking for a smooth interstate, the road I'm on now is not as smooth as it needs to be.

I think they are all the same. You can add the fan and that makes it work so much better. I used those Little Giants for several years with great hatches. Like Bill, I just got to needing a bigger unit that done it better. Christina, I place a cardboard in the bottom, to catch all the shell and droppings.

Terra, nice pictures of your blues. You know they look alot my blues. I think the biggest think on the blue bantams is the lacing. If we could get the lacing on them like the English blues we would have it made.

I have a sportsman also. I guess it's 25 years old, I bought it new and it has never had a major breakdown. I have had to replace the wafers a time or two.

Got my bator ready and pluged up. If all goes good, I'll get my eggs in Tuesday or Wed. I moved that thing 968 miles, pluged it up and it went to 99 deg and clicked off. Must be living right. I guess we are in for another winter blast, Wed morning 2 deg and 30 mph wind, up to 10 in of show.

I have been asked how do you post pictures. I have never been a computer person, just know how to get on and look around and post some. If one of you smarter folks could post how to do it would be a great help. For me keep it simple as possible. Many thanks.

If my birds saw all those nice pens they would want to move to your house.

Today we got up to 19 deg and not much wind. Weather.com says we are going to get to 27 Friday and 43 Sat. That is going to be nice. Then back at this again starting Monday. 3 or 4 days of below 32 for highs.

Roy, our club has made the biggest move up in numbers in the last year and you have to give credit where it needs to be. Our secertary has done and is doing a great job. I can't thank her enough for the job.

Be sure and get those feathers out of the way so you will have fertile eggs. Jon, went the time gets good I'll send you some eggs. There is some very good bantam breeders on here. Alot has about the same breeding. In fact you can ask and the name Warren Tye comes up alot.
