Need to be thinking if you want a ad in the APA or ABA yearbooks. I know that happens pretty soon.

My second batch is to come off Wed. Much better this time, more or higher% of fertile eggs. I guess the birds like nice weather also.

Beth, those guys that had the show at the state fair got old and quit. No one ever took it over and they done away with it. Sad thing, all the cages was stored in a building and they needed the room and hauled all the cages to the dump. I hope to start a show up in Watonga, we had one for years and I moved to TN and it was over.

Bethinoklahoma, doninoklahoma, I think it would be hard to feed a large group like that. All my birds in pens and I can give them what I want. I would like to fill the feeder and forget it until it's low. My standard orps eat to much, like me I guess and get to fat. Mine just don't lay very good when to fat.

I hear baby chicks in the bator. They are due Friday. Been 2 years since I raised any babies. I did hatch some for Roy and mailed them to him. I know I'm late for the Crossroads on Standards but the bantams should be fine.

I put 15 doz eggs in the bator a week ago last Friday and checked them today. I only had 6 doz fertile eggs. Some of my eggs was a little to old when I set them. Hope the nice weather gets things going better.

One of my black orp bantam hens layed a egg today that was about 3/4 in across. I have never had that happen. It didn't have a yolk in it. Does that say she's done laying good eggs?
