Yep, that's a orpington in my mind!! Bill, did you raise this guy? He's very nice. yeah Harry always told me if I take one of my Cuckoo boys to a White girl I would get some that are White and some that are Cuckoo. For much of the season I thought he had some potential. never thought he'd turn out this nice. Only hatched out about a dozen for his parents. 1 outta 12 that is worthy is good for me. I wish my Buff were as easy.

Floyd's sister. Not a show girl. Her legs show that her daddy the Cuckoo came from a Black hen. BUT we can take her back to that Harry cock for some nice clean White legged fun. Whatta tank! Had to change her name. I guess WHITE POWER may give the wrong idea. So, she is Ula, short for Ulakanakulot. ULA

That is one of the coolest looking orps if seen. How did you get that.David Harry said that he thought Alan mentioned that time to time he would get one of these. I took Harry's cock to his daughters. The gene must be present apparently.

Davy, Hen looks nice and good color. The male is somewhat brassy which seems to plagque the imported line for some reason unless it is just your photo.

some of the old time breeders stressed that if your flock is getting brassy, only use the mature birds with the whitest quills in your breeding pen. take a mature bird that has mature feathering, and examine their quills in the sun. use the birds with the whitest quills. after several breeding your birds will whiten up. it seems like if you outcross or bring in new blood brassiness can slip in.

Hello everyone here are some pics of my white orps.Let me know what you think. Davy talked to Harry just mins ago and we talked about these Whites. Nice! This past few days I posted on Facebook that I would not mind getting this boy into the rite hands for use. I very litely used him this season. MAYBE 5 chicks. Good size when you compare him to everyone else's whites. He is near or around the 10 lbs range. just a guess. I know he is bigger then my 9.25 lbs White cock from last season. Davy shown some interest. As mentioned in my conversation with Harry, we both think this male here is a Silver and would really help in your White program getting rid of any worries of brassiness. Davy's boy when he wants him.

Consider him yours. I would not hesitate taking him to the Silver Lace White pullet sometime. She has good type and he is pretty good size. Get yourself a half dozen pullets next season to play with down the road.
