My bantam buff Orpington rooster is acting weird and has a really dark comb. He also is standing with his tail down and just all around acting off. Does anyone know what could be wrong with him?

probably not good unless he has a heavy infestation of mites.

He died last night, he didnt have any mites from what I could see. All the other birds look healthy so I dont know what it could be.

Did his comb look purple? Have you wormed them? I have never seen bantams do that but I know with the LF they can have heart problems. I had a splash male that would get excited running around and his comb would be a dark purple and after resting a while it would look better.

His comb was purple. I have never wormed him, or any of my birds. The judge from the show I went to a few weeks ago said that its probably a respiratory problem and im going to go get antibiotics to give to the rest of my flock tomorrow.
