I just entered my first show. The Something to Crow About Show in Newport, TN. I think there are over 900 entries total. I don't know anything about shows or how many LF are entered let alone how many Orps. I did notice on the exhibitor list a lot of people from surrounding/close states: GA, NC, SC, KY & VA (if I am not mistaken).
I entered 7 total: 4 buff pullets, 1 buff cockerel, 1 blue pullet & 1 black pullet. I am not expecting to win anything but it was nice when some of the other exhibitors commented on mine tonight when I cooped them in. I will followup tomorrow & let you know how it goes; that is if I can figure it out!

This is really my first year of showing too! Enjoy the show, and don't be afraid to introduce yourself! I was real nervous to say anything at first, but as I introduced myself to other breeders, you find they are super nice! Let us know how it goes!

I just got home & got settled in. The show was nice & met some nice people. I will try to post pics tomorrow. I think there was 13 LF Orps of which I entered 7. The winning Orp was a buff cockerel shown by Jerry Couch of AL (I will double check this but fairly sure).
