It has been warm and now the rain is coming. We are under tornado watch. The wind is blowing really hard. I'm with you Don, I don't think I could take the cold of the north states. I am used to more tropical weather.

We got lucky and just got sleet. No trees or loss of power here. Lots of little twigs that had a 1/2 inch of ice on them that fell off. The yard is like an ice rink.

Today we got up to 19 deg and not much wind. Weather.com says we are going to get to 27 Friday and 43 Sat. That is going to be nice. Then back at this again starting Monday. 3 or 4 days of below 32 for highs.

We are not that bad this morning in Watonga, OK, but we did get snow and the wind is blowing about 30 mph. Drifts are bad. I'm ready for spring for sure.

I guess it's all the same, they have missed 14 days of school there in TN. It was on the radio this morning, every school in Oklahoma was closed today. They said they didn't ever remembering that happening.

Yeah, they let my neices grade school out early the other day because it was snowing, by the time school would have got out, it was all melted away.
You stay warm down there inside.
Its been chilly up here last couple days but no snow where I am at. Christina on the other hand should be getting some fresh snow *I am excited about that! Taking the kids over to play in it soon, hope it keeps snowing!!* I just finished reading a book called Weird Washington, in 1910 I think it was the cascade mountains had a bad blizzard, anyway it was a 12 day storm I think and in the last day of the storm it dumped 12 feet of snow, WOW! Sad part was an avalanche happened and killed alot of people who were on a train waiting in the sheds for the storm to pass and the plows to get the snow off the tracks.
