Well we just finished our last NC Spring show today (kinda glad to be done, gettin hot), Carolina Feather Fanciers in Greensboro. Not as big of a turn out as I would have liked but there were around 550 birds. I only took two LF and won both Best and Reserve English!! And no we weren't the only English. ;D My daughter showed our buff bantam hen in Juniors along with a couple of her silkies and did manage to win Reserve SCCL. All in all a decent end to a Spring season.

Just shown at Gateway Poultry Show. Also a smaller turn out. 759 entries. Only 2 other shown in English. And one of them was a hatchery Buff cock. So I had really only to beat myself. Ron Patterson Won with a big beautiful White Wyandotte cock. Gorgeous bird. Ron's bird was in great condition. Rev Romig said that there was one bird on Champ row who would have done better if there was no issues with condioning. that was my poopy butt Buff hen. Still liked her. And Christina's Black hen was shown for the 1st time ever by me. She took Reserve English. Here are a few pics. Sorry Christina I thought I had taken one of your girl. She in my eyes looked as an equal to my Buff hen. This is the same Buff hen who won Champ English at Central indiana Poultry Show 2 years ago. And is the only one I am hatching from for now. 6 month ole buff Harry's boy 6 month ole Black Bamma's Splash shown for Christina to get the #s up for Splashes shown
