This question has been bothering me for a few weeks now. I have a young cockerel who is 6 or 7 months old. His body type seems to be coming along well, and he seems to be of good size too. His comb is still hardly bigger than my pullets though. So my question is does the comb tend to grow quickly after a certain age, or is there anything I need to do (such as special feeding or cooping) to help his comb grow? Or is it normal for the comb to stay small for a certain length of time?

Your bird is fine with a smaller comb. I prefer the smaller comb myself.
