Hello, The conditioning pens are used to get the bird in condition for the show room.Also to get them out of the elements.

It seems they would sit/sleep in their own poop. Do you not worry about this since you will be washing them, or am I missing something about the design that would limit this?

I do not worry about that because When they start kicking the the shavings around it covers the poop.My white orpington have been in the pens for a week and have not had a problem with it.

Did you use any kind of sealer on the wood floors?? Or are you going to use plastic trays? I am only asking because you have put so much work into them... Soo it would be nice to keep them as long as possible
