I've finally got some quality buffs thanks to Doug, Matt, Irene, and Don. Dons Cockerels are just getting to the fertil age and I've seen some breeding going on. They are my only males so far. Girls are laying like crazy but haven't gotten any to hatch yet. Still working on it. I may clip the butts of Matt's girls to help the boys out. Any other suggestions? I also just recalibrated my incubator so that's fine now. Would also like a suggestion on keeping richness and deepness in the buff color.

In regards to buff colour, I have a PDF called "Buff Coloration in Poultry" by Danne Honour. It is a compilation of a lot of articles on breeding buff poultry. I found it very informative. You can also buy an updated copy on a CD from him directly.

Keep those peppered up tail feathers females, that will help a lot.
