I haven't been on since the upgrades. Last year I bred a blue cockerel over two blue hens and one black hen. I got a three black pullets and a black cockerel out of that pen. Here are a couple photos. What do you think?

Those are some mighty fine looking Black Orps. Love the type on all of them. So nice and shiny green too. Would love to see them at a show

Thanks Julie. I appreciate the good words. I have never shown any yet, but I'm thinking about it next fall. I would I really like to meet some of you guys. I think the show in Shawnee Oklahoma is pretty big, but I imagine I would probably have to go a little farther east to see you at a show.

Wow! It doesn't get old looking at your birds. I especially like that hen. That boy sure is round with a big chest...he has no neck at all.

Thanks zig.. I like a few of them I like. She is not he one I showed this year. I am going to weigh a bunch of them next week when the Sun shines again. I have a young cockerel that is bigger than that particular black. His chest is huge. I am going to put him over some of the girls next week. I just hope I am getting fertile eggs from the cock. I have some in the bator so I should know soon
