I put the eggs in a egg carton, I then place some shaving on top of the eggs, them I close catron and tape it real good. I wat up newspapers to put in box and place the egg carton in the box and then I put more newspaper. I write GLASS on the box. I think those USPS folks try to break the eggs if you put eggs on box. If I ship 4 or 5 doz, I put shavings in box, about inch deep and place a layer of eggs and more shavings and go up from there. Works pretty good.

Ok first ... This is what my collected hatchings look like... I never wash eggs and I never ship dirty eggs to anyone. I am very selective in the quality of the shape, size, etc as well. This is what a shipment of a doz purchased eggs look like from me... yes I send extras ... usually 3 The foam blocks hold 6 large eggs each and the blocks are reusable.

Don... I am going to label all my shipping boxes with GLASS on the outside from now on... I think that is a great idea.
