Anything to look at another thread on this site. I just thought to get away from the distractions by posting the most "cut away breast" I own to just poke fun at myself for not culling him. Anything to lighten up the atmosphere here. Please feel free to poke fun at my LARS. He doesn't not know how deficient he is. I really wanted to cull him, but was talked out of doing it by a much wiser man then me. LARS is my widest or broadest Orp like bird I own. So I may still use him in a dozen or so chick breeding. Anything to get back to having fun! Here is LARS hatched to be made fun of! Have at it, a really cut away breast bird.

Bill I always say use what you have till you get better. This boy here is one of my Fav cockerels. His name is Prince. I have been getting eggs daily from his pen but no fertiles yet. His color is very much like Charlies. He might be slightly larger, better comb for sure. I want to seee what I get out of him.

Thanks bill. I really want to reproduce the comb. I am doing very selective breeding this year. I hope if the weather if fine this next week to move Charlie in with 3 specific girls. He has got real picky as he has aged. Oh I do have a few fertiles from Hoss. I will see how they turn out and then know if he will be a keeper

I will see how they turn out and then know if he will be a keeper I like the idea of just using the very best pullet/hens in small numbers in a pen with a select few boys. Like yourself I will have no shortage this year of high energy cockerels to use. I think I have 5 separate pens I plan on using for my Blacks, 3 pens for my Blues and 6 Buff pens. The 6 Buff pens is cause I can not get myself to cull any of the final four Buff cockerels I have. I am so far lucky by keeping a couple of pens with a pair of cockerels instead of just one. And their not killing each other. Julie I am to get some Lav eggs from Harry that has Tubby Jr as the sire. I am VERY EXCITED about what may pop out. I will for sure make sure I scrutinize over each of them babies.

Bill tubby Jr is a great looking bird. he should help make some larger more typey birds. He has a really good tail.
Joy I haven't decided yet weather you need to send me Blueberry or bluebonnet. It would be hard to get lacing better than those two. Their color of blue is just wonderful. Now don't forget to send me some more chicks or eggs from Minerva and Winston. They make some nice offspring together. Of course, Minerva is one of the best laced birds too. I like hagrid's type. I really like his tail. I wonder what color you would get breeding him to Petra.

I know how happy Harry is with TJ. I have a good feeling about this breeding. Minerva is outstanding! I would not let an egg of hers leave my property if I had her. Good luck with that breeding.

Here are two Blue cockerels I like. I keep wanting to cull more, but thankfully have been told "be patient Grasshopper, and good things will come!" I am prolly wrong in liking Lazarro & Lurch. So a I am keeping L A R S and Leni for now. And maybe keeping Spanky too. 5 cockerels isn't too many is it? Laz Lurch
