You may want to contact Heirloom Orpingtons or Korfus since most that are otherwise available are more like hatchery Australorp stock and will take forever to upgrade. Several people already gave up trying to upgrade them over the last few years because the cost of feed.

Who would have thunk it. I made a Lavender. Never had a clue this gene amongst the many lurked in my Cuckoos. You can see the Purdy Del Orp wanting to be part of the photo shoot. My Lavender. Worst type in this pen. Her sis the Silver Laced White pullet is rite behind her. Damm that Shafer is sneaky. Cuckoo is what I expected. Harry sneaked in Delaware genes, Silver Lace genes, now LAV? Whatta think? Not an authority at all but I guess take her back to her daddy Lurch the 13 lbs Cuckoo? Whatta think? Lurch
