We had our Tennessee State Meet today. Had some nice Lemon Cuckoos, Lavenders, Buffs, and Blacks in LF. Just Black Orpingtons in the Bantams though. I took a few pictures this time - we'll see. We sponsored some nice little plaques for the BB and RB of both LF and Bantams. I've enclosed a pict. Attachments:

Overall - a pretty nice show. Between 900 and 1000 birds shown. ~25+ in the English Class, ~100 in the SCCL class. I forgot to count the LF Orpingtons - i'm sure Angie and Ruth got an exact count - but probably ~ 15. There were 9 bantam Orpingtons.

Terry, word is out the APA will have there big show in 2014 at Knoxville in Dec. Where will they have it? I would think in Dec the chicken barn at the fairgrounds would be cold.

Don, we (the Tennessee Valley Poultry Club) plan to bring in coops to the big Jacobs Building (just between the Old Poultry Barn and the Pond) where they do the crops and commercial boothes for the TVA&I fair. We may get a practice run for another big event to be named later in December 2013. The Knoxville Touriosm Board has really gotten behind these events.

Don, perhaps now trhe time to ask about the UOC NAtionals - could we get them for either a potential event to be named later in December 2013, or the APA National already awarded for 2014?

The Nationals for 2013 will be out west at the Stockton, CA show. The 2014 is in the East and this has already been asked for at the APA National. What we do ask if anyone wants it and who offers the best deal. Like the Ohio Nationals they do $100 or $200, I can't remember to have Nationals there. Do you think the Jacobs building is big enough?
