My friend posted this on another forum: "I am going to a show in Hamilton, Montana the first weekend of May. This is their 7th annual show and they always have lots of chicks and giveaways for the 4-H kids and people new to poultry. I bring eggs, chicks and goslings and donate a portion of my sales to the Club. I am not a member of this Club, but the people are great and I haven't missed a year since I met these people in Great Falls, at the Ameraucana Nationals in 2007.
Anyway, I am soliciting donations. I have donated proceeds and some of my stock for the past four years and was interested in perhaps getting some bantams or another breeders line to offer here.
Duane Urch is a yearly sponsor of this club and I want to send out a big Thank You to him!"
I am also going to the show. If you have anything call or email me. These people are great! I will be donating several LF and bantams.

Christina, You forgot to tell everyone about their great raffle they are having and one does not have to be present to participate. They have many things and i told my nephew to check out what they are raffling to see if there was anything he would be intertested in. I read you get six tickets/chances for $5 and if you win the item will be mailed to you. Please don't quote me on any of this but contact the Show Sec first to see what are the details. I am sure the Show Sec or contact person will be in this issue of Poultry Press. Good luck everyone. Harry

Harry,
The guy that is putting on this event is using the Rocky Mt. Poultry club name. He is not the poultry club, I think he is just trying to make a fast buck. I was hoping people would donated to the actual club that has a show every year.

Christina, Thanks for enlightening me. I thought it was the club sponsoring the raffle. I should have known better by the place I read it. Harry
