Jermey Neville is a great cross with your girls. Those are gorgeous and the blue color is excellent

Julie, I think he's done well for me so far. He's produced what I wanted, some lighter colored Blues that still appear to have excellent lacing even as youngsters. I can't wait to see how the babies I have growing out look in another 4 months. They're getting big.
My plan this year is to do more selective breeding, I want separate Neville and Thelma and try to get a nice typey Blue male from the two to use for future breeding. Last year I just collected every egg I could from the flock and incubated that way. I hope to have some more focus going into this season.

I think that is the right approach. I still want some eggs from Neville and your group. Just a few. I have to keep my numbers low.

Very nice Jeremy. I trap nest and I also pen trios to know what produces what. It save time and money in the long run (not having so many culls)

Another Blue hen, post molt. She's a bit smaller than some of my other girls but I love her color and lacing.
