This Blue Cuckoo cockerel came from Harry's Lavender cock over my 1/2 Korfus Black Orp/1/2 Cuckoo Wyandotte mixed Black Hen. One would think this boy would be the one with the Rose comb. But he isn't. And he MAYBE my best Cuckoo cockerel. Definite keeper! Prolly will use him with my Rosecomb Cuckoo pullets. I have been dealt this hand and better play with it.

Like you said I am going to take him to a Cuckoo pullet this coming year. And may take him to these 2 Rosecombs Cuckoo pullets too. Still have them, why not use them.

I am CUCKOO about my Cuckoos! Updated today! Gomer and his Cuckoo girl. hoping to make some nice typee Cuckoos both Blue Cuckoos and the regular Cuckoos She is leaning for this pic. Another young Black pullet Horshack is actually a Cuckoo male crossed with a Buff. Most likely will be culled. But you never know what I will do? My Birchen Dun cockerel Dunald Pic of another Black pullet and just to show off my one Rosecomb Cuckoo Bantam when compared to a Standard size Large Orp. I actually like this little banty She struts her stuff! To say I can not wait for HUGO to go into action is an understatement. For now he has just the 2 girls. But like I previously mentioned I am going to incorporate the SHAFFER method of using the absolutely best pullet/hen with him to get more White in the coming years. GO GET EM HUGO! This Beige Buff sport has caught more then just my eye. A couple of well known Orp breeders have me on their short list to get what comes out of her. Just look at that head. (sorry for the blurry pic) A BUSTOFF line Black hen. I HAD 3 till I noticed one did not make it back to her coop. So then there is two!
