See where the weather is rough on the east side. S and S how is it with you guys? I think they live right in the middle of that storm.

I thought that might hit you. You are lucky that is all the damage you have. I guess about when you get it all cleaned up, you will be ready for the next one. Are you able to have water for your animals?

We got some rain in western Oklahoma last night. About a inch and it was 61 deg this morning. I think the weather guy said we would hit 82 this afternoon. Now that's a big change for us. Steve, looks like the chain saw will be in order.

Steve, thanks for sharing the pics. Here on the west side of the state we didn't see anything but a bit of wind. Our thoughts and prayers have gone out to those affected. Very glad to hear that you only sustained some tree damage and that all the birds are o.k. I just read in one of the poultry magazines recently that burned ash logs are good for poultry, just hang/nail a burned chunk of it up somewhere in the coop where they can peck at it freely, something about the charred ash that is good for them, a natural remedy for ailments.

Opps, I didn't mean it to sound like it was "ash" trees, just a burnt piece or wood "charred" I guess is what's it's called, any type of wood. They just nailed a piece up in the coop so birds could peck at it when they felt they needed the ash from it. We will be burning a pile sometime this fall, going to try and save a few pieces to put in the runs myself.
