I'm starting my Crele bantam project. I have a Cuckoo orp male and I have a partridge wyandotte pullet, thats my first cross. Working on getting a partridge rock to cross on the cuckoo. What would your idea be on crossing the cuckoo male on a RIR SC females? I know the body type is not the same, but now I'm thinking color.

RIR wouldnt be a good choice because it doesnt have the pattern you need. You should take the Cuckoo male over the Partridge female, then one of the resulting offspring back over the female or the offspring together (the offspring over the female would be a better choice). At this point you should get some Crele colored birds, you would just have to work on getting the pure Crele.
You could make a barred red columbian by crossing with the RIR though.

MAYBE 1 outta 10 will show any hints of yellow. Then be selective in the upcoming generations.

Looking at this, you should get a partridge male, if you can, and breed it to cuckoo females then follow this pattern. Replace Brown Leghorn with Partridge, and Barred Rock with Cuckoo Orp.

Hello,my uncle hatched 25 chicks from a crele orpington trio here in Ontario. He didn't get one crele coloured offspring. He got black, blue, varying degrees of barred, etc but no full crele colour like the parents. The rooster especially was definitely crele coloured. How true does the crele colouration breed in the next generation, crele on crele?. Thank you
