You know for a breed, black orps was hurting 5 years or so. Now with the help of a few outstanding breeders, the blacks are back.

Same black pullet that won at the Denver show #2 won today RB at the Denver Stockyard Show. i455.photobucket.com/albums/qq272/Korfus_Kluckers/harryshaffer.jpgA buff Cock bird won BB. The young fellow was disappointed with his black cockerel becasue the tail was not in yet. He said his bird had a very tight fit in the show cage and difficulty turning around in it; cage was too small for this bird.
