Who is going? I entered 10 birds, 8 are Orps. I still have to go and pick up Patches the Splash. Finally will be showing something White. Fingers crossed that they will stay clean for the judges. These Whites are prolly too young to compete for BB. but, I can feel comfy against any other White Orps. Unless Christina is sneaking in with her BB quality Whites.

Congrats to Terry Disney, he had BB Orpington in both bantam and Large fowl with black females. The large fowl also won Ch English, with a Buff getting Res Ch English.

Dummy me - - I didn't take any pictures. I had a whole lot going on that weekend. As soon as Doug posts the pict of my LF pullet - I'll try to copy it here. I think Jon and Neal got some pict's of the Bantam pullet and cockeral. Maybe they can send me electonic copies when they get a chance?
The Central Indiana Show is a really GREAT Show to attend! Ron and Doug and everyone do a fantastic job - and little mistakes here and there (Doug) don't detract from an OUSTANDING Poultry Show experience. Everyone should try to make 1 of these annual Fall Shows in Lebanon, Indiana. There were more than 2200 birds at this year's show (not counting sale birds). The BEST set-up of any show we go to!!

I totally agree! Neil got pictures of the bantam pullet and cockerel, and the LF Pullet, I will post them as soon as I get them from Neil, and he should send you a copy too Terry. Congratulations Terry! It was our first showing of the Buffs we have put together and our Buff pullet was BV, RB, and Res. Ch. English. We show under the partnership name of "Pullet-Surprise Exhibition Chickens" (Bob Gilbert and Sarah Sims). We are blending birds from Doug Akers and Fred Farthing with excellant results. I agree that the Central Indiana Poultry Club has come to the forefront as having one of the greatest fall shows in the mid west. Hats off to Doug, Ron, and crew! Already looking forward to October 19, 2013 for their next show!

Not exceptional photo quality, but Terry's Black was exceptional. Actually, he had several terrific Orpingtons in the show. Bill had some very nice birds that took some awards too, including a pair of beautiful Whites. Thanks to you both for schooling me!

Christina - I'm hoping that Doug got a good 1 - but I haven't seen it yet. He always posts pict's of the winners on his website and for ExhibitionPoultry. Else I know Poultry Press got 1 - but I didn't particularly like the angle on that 1. I'm keeping my fingers crosssed that Doug got a good 1. Also, I'll see if Bill can't take a couple more this coming weekend.
