Matt maybe you could give the info on how to register or who to contact to register a bird to show. and if their are any Hotels nearby that are giving a show discount. I think that is a great time of the year in the South to show birds.

Matt I am planning to. been super busy lately with so many things. I will see if I have any to show and contact someone next week to schedule. The only thing that could stop me is if they take me off Blood thnners on Dec 3rd and schedule me for Cataract Surg. which I really need. Have to wait an see. They didn't promise me I could come off then just said they would reevaluate. I will let you know though. I want to come and see several people. Also I am sending you a pm about your chickens

I have made it to the show and Matt Ulrich and the Panhandle Poultry club have done and outstanding job setting up for this show. Great facility too. I will post pics tomorrow. I have taken some but I will wait on posting them. Some really big and nice Orps here. The people are super friendly and helpful. Glad I came.

I promise to post some pics tomorrow I am just to tired tonite and photobucket is gving me fits. The judges were great and did a good job and the host club was just awesome and helpful and friendly. Their facitly it great and they access to even larger buildings. I am hoping we can have a National in this region there in the future. I think everyone had a great time at this show and all I see is it growing. I hope the Panhandle Poultry Club grows as well so they will have plenty of help. I probably should have had a orp table setup down there cause I had some ask about joining the club. They were there to observe and plan on showing in Lake City. It is exciting to see all the interest in the Orps. BTW Congrats to Matt Ulrich for winning Champion English with a australorp

Julie, I'm sorry I didn't get to visit with you more at the show. I was so busy all day that I didn't get to talk to hardly anyone. Congrats on the wins. I was very pleased with the class of Orpingtons at our show. We had some quality Orps and quite a few to boot. I hope that only gets bigger and better at future shows.
I sent a few people to you that were looking for info about the club and the breed. I hope they found you.
Our Spring Show is March 23rd so mark it on your calendar. Maybe I will have a little more time to visit at that show.

I almost forgot, we had some really good Bantam Orpingtons in the show.Charles Logan had some very nice Black Bantams and some very nice Buff Bantams. Julie brought a nice Chocolate Bantam as well. I haven't seen any Bantam Orps as good as the birds that were at this show. It made me have some bad thoughts of getting some. As a matter fact my Daughter seen Charles's Buff Bantams and said she wanted some to show in the Junior class. Any way I didn't want to leave the little guys out...
