Here are a few of this years crop of breeder birds. White cockerel, I think he is one of the best I have ever bred or owned Next to a five gallon bucket so that you can gauge his size. I also love his width: A few black split to white, I was trying to lengthen the back, they are not in the best condition and all have their back-ends trimmed for breeding: A white pullet: Finally the fruits of my labor white Orpington from split pullet:

Have you tried him on the Buff Sports yet? I am using the Buff Sport cockerel on some of the lessor quality Black hens to see what to expect. So far it looks like they MAYBE throwing Blacks. But time will tell

I am building a White Orp flock with help from some of our best UOC members help. Want to thank Harry for the White Orp cockerel. He is an aggressive breeder and producing some nice round little babies. Also like to thank Doug for the nice Buff Sport cock who is also producing. Thank Gayle, Paul and Christina. Without their input and help I would still be just gawking over everyones else's Exhibition White Orps. I hope someday my patch work flock of Whites will come together to make some decent showable Whites in the future. And thank Don for being the best prez any Club could ever dream of having. Don makes this club so worth while and enjoyable and peaceful by keeping everyone satisfied with great birds. Christina had let me have a Dun Splash to use with this White cockerel. And My Buff Sport is producing some babies with these inferior Black hens. Here are 2 of the little ones. One from the Buff Sport and one from Harry's White cockerel over the Dun Splash. Both I hope will carry the White gene. The Buff Sport's chick I hope will be painted Black to use both for Blacks and Whites someday

Bill the whites will be rocking in the next few years. We just need to keep plugging along. I know Steve J. said he likes the length of back on the black splits!!
