Don, Jacobs Building should be plenty big - that's the least of my concerns! I'm not involved in the planning for the show too much right now. We'll have to see. It COULD be a good well arranged and layed-out meet - Remember those balconies all along both sides with multiple ground access motor doors from upperend. Easy 6-8k birds if we need it And the old historic barn just a few steps away if we decide to use it too. Easy access from both ends on the first floor plus up top - and then the main doors for pedestrian use facing the pond. The location should be great - the devil is in finding the manpower and committment to pull it off with style - and not just do the minimum or less.
If we can get the UOC National - I'd like to see us get at least 150-200 Orpingtons (LF and Bantams combined) competing. What do you think? We have a lot of locals working with Lemon Cuckoo and Lavender apparantly - and I'm doing my part to spread the Blues and Blacks far and wide. Should i go higher as a goal?

I can't beleive the fair is going along with a poultry show in there. It's a good place, you could use upstairs and downstairs. I have spent many Sat. in that building downing the FFA judging. It wasn't cooled then, now it's alot better.
