The Chicken and Egg Festival in Moulton,Al will be held April 13th, 14th and 15th. Doug Akers will be there as a advisor to this new show and hopefully many of you will be there. It will be a State Meet I think. That will mean extra points for you if your bird places high. I am trying to post a link for all to look at. If this dhttp://www.alabamachickenandeggfestival.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=97&Itemid=117oesn't work it is easily googled

I will be there Julie. Unforturnately I don't think I will have any Orps to show as they are all in the breeding pen. I kept them out to take to the Newnan show but I couldn't wait any longer, I have to get some chicks hatched. Is anyone else bringing any Orps to Moulton?

I attended the Alabama Chicken and Egg Festival with 3 large orps. there were 3 other orps there for the Friday and Saturday Show. the festival was great and so was the staff. the part that was so interesting was that the birds placed differently each day under the judge that was judging that day. my wyandottes and my partner's new hamshires also placed differently each day. hope to go back again next year
