Here is the Link for the Newnan Show. I went last year to just see what type show it was. It was a very good show with good attendance. I am planning on attending and showing this year. Hope to see some of you there.

Here is the Buff Cock that won Champion English and Best of Breed at the Newnan Ga. Show. There were two buffs shown by two different exhibitors. One was buff hen. There were two blues shown. One was a blue pullet I showed and one was a blue Hen that got best variety. Here are their pics this first pic is the hen that won best varitey shown by a exhibitor out of Mi. This is a young pullet I showed. Both birds were very large This is a black hen shown by me and she got Best Variety and Reserve Breed This is a black 8 month old cockerel I showed that got nothing but a 1. He is a wide boy. I really like him This is Taylor my black pullet I carried and she got reserve Variety In this picture is another black pullet shown by the folks from Mi. Here is the buff hen shown. That was all the Orps shown in this competition. There were about 29 English birds shown, a few australorps, A lot of cornish and 1 sussex. Congrats to the winner of Champion English

Beautiful birds Julie!! I am guessing the Buff who won Champion English and Best of Breed, looks like, to my untrained eyes, a Ewert line Buff. He reminds me of my number one cock, but much nicer color and a appears bigger in size. I can see why Doug likes Ewert's birds.

Welcome to the forum Nava. Christina has some really nice whites she is working on. If you make it to the Crossroads show she will be showing some I think. there should be some other breeders with some there too.
