Well yesterday was a long day but we are home and had a good time! It's always good to see our 'chicken' friends and meet some new ones, met Tom Roebuck yesterday, nice man. Our results from the show: LF - Blue Pullet, Best of Breed/Variety & Reserve English Black Cockerel, Reserve of Breed/Best Variety Bantams - Had the 10 there so they competed against each other but overall my buff hen I showed last year took Best of Breed and a young black cockerel took Reserve of Breed.

Yes, same pullet. She is just such a beautiful girl. Going to take her to my "Biggie" when she starts laying again to work on 'skirts'. There were 10 LF orps there, didn't think that was too bad for a smaller show. It was a state meet for Jersey Giants so they were out in full force, this is also Australorp country as well as brown leghorns. A lorp (pullet??hen) took champion English and LF champ and show champ was a brown leghorn (pullet??hen) if my memory serves me correct??
