I have 4-Her who wants to sell some Blue & Black Orp bantams. About 1/2 dozen blue and black hens (from the Columbus show last year), and 2 of Don's Black Cock birds that I got for them from another junior up in Cocke County (both Cock birds are really nice - but both molting now). There is also about a dozen chicks - I think all black except for 3 barred out of a Barred Ply Rock bantam hen that they also had in the pen. I am coming to Columbus on Friday night and could bring them if someone wants them. Otherwise i probably will not bring them because I don't want to be stuck with them.

If you run in Cocke County, you have to be all right. If you check at Cocke County Fair there will be more orp bantams shown that at any national. I have gave them things away and the next year they would wear me out. It's ok, at least they are doing something good. Where do you live?

Don - been showing with Ruth and Angie a lot lately - in fact the fall show in Newport is this coming weekend too. I'm going to drop off some birds there Friday morning - then head up to Columbus that night. Angie's gonna coop out my birds for me and i'll get them from her Sunday night. I live about 50 minutes away in Anderson County. And you are right - there were 20+ bantam Orpingtons at the Cocke County Fair this summer. That's where I got the 2 cock birds that I thought my 4-Her was going to use with some hens that we'd gotten elsewhere. But this particular young man likes winning with Old English game bantams better I guess.
